All Hunts require a non refundable $50.00 Deposit in advance to book a hunt.

JDA Plantation is located 11 miles West of Quincy in Mt Pleasant, Fl on the North side of highway US 90. Look for our entrance gate between the brick column sign that reads JDA Plantation Hunt Preserve.

Trophy Deer Hunting is done on two plantations outside Tallahassee, Florida which my family has owned for 6 generations. We manage over 3,000 acres for quality deer hunting that can not be matched anywhere in florida. Bucks in the 120+ Boone & Crockett scale are taken yearly. I personally take you to a comfortable stand where you can hunt all day or come out for a home style lunch to return and hunt 'til dark when I'll pick you and (with luck) your trophy up! Stands are located on food plots & shots are usually taken at less than 100 yds.

Bucks which are under 6pts have a $500 fine but bucks 6pt and up are included in the very low daily price of $200.00. We hunt every day in the Central and NW zones. A $25.00 deposit per person per day requested. Book Early! The best dates fill fast! Lodging and lunch included. Groups over 4 recieve a 10% discount.

Pheasant Shoots with bags up to 200 birds are held once a month, November, December, January and February. Hunts begin at 8 am and conclude after a BBQ served in the plantation house (The oldest pioneer home in Florida) The driven syle birds are best taken with a nice double barrel. Traditional dress encouraged. Well trained wives, children and retrievers welcome! Limited to 20 guns $150.00 per day. $25.00 deposit requested to book.

Wild Duck and Goose Hunting is done on the 37,00 acre Lake Seminole and adjoining Chatahoochee and Flint River systems. Rustic lodge on the bank of the Chattahoochee serves as our base for outstanding waterfowling available here. Can be combined with quail or deer hunting. $150.00 per person. $200.00 includes meal and lodging. $25.00 deposit requested.

Quail Hunts 1/2 day, no limit! $195.00 per person includes lunch. $25.00 deposit requested.

Turkey Hunting for Eastern and Osceola birds is very good this year due to a very dry spring. $150.00 a day and $100.00 trophy fee. Spring season begins mid - March. $25.00 deposit requested.

Hog Hunts guaranteed meat hog. $200.00 a day, trophy and meat hog $500.00

Wild Boar Hunts
$200.00 a day for tasty meat hogs up to 120 lbs. Hunting is done from satnds or stalked. Boar hunts are available most of the year and can be hunted with bow, pistol, muzzleloader, or gun. For the really brave try a spear!

Alligator Hunts
can be arranged in the month of September through a lottery license. Hunting is done from a boat at night with a harpoon and line. Gators are gigged and then fought close to the boat by hand then dispatched with a 357 magnum bang stick. There are no guarantees but be prepared for hours of bordom and seconds of explosive terror! $700.00 a night

Trophy Deer Hunting
is done from blinds on the ground or from towers over looking year round food plots. Fines on smaller buck assure big mature trophies and a healthy heard. Doe tags are also available sometimes as well as on set doe days. Your day begins at 5:30 AM when we take you quietly to your stand in the dark. We will pick you back up and take you to an all you can eat country lunch at Jack Wingates Lodge on the beautiful 37,000 acre Lake Seminole just 10 miles away! With a full stomach you'll go back to another stand for the afternoon hunt then we will pick up you and your trophy just after sunset. This full day of hunting is $175.00 for an additional $25.00 you can stay in our on site hunter's bunkhouse. Equipped with a kitchen, big bathroom with a hot shower and comfortable bunk beds. Just bring your own sleeping bags and food gear. We have several North Florida plantations to hunt on and all are well managed.

Wild Duck and Goose
hunting is done from boats and blinds or standing in flooded timber crops. Depending on time and conditions. Wooduck, widgeon, ringneck, teal and gadwall are the main species and resident Canadian geese can be hunted on Lake Seminole. $200.00 a day includes evening in our lodge, breakfast and morning hunt.
